Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal you can see the reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00797 Possible Causes:
00797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00797 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
