Diameter in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of instrument cluster also o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
00797 Possible Causes:
00797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00797 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
