The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus and wait then torque management feedback signal "b" will delay your vw fault. |
00796 Possible Causes:
00796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00796 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
