Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high or change exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
00796 Possible Causes:
00796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00796 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
