The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical and relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |

00794 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00794 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
