Staring in engine clutch temperature, control mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground or throttle actuator control motor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00789 Possible Causes:
00789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00789 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
