When you open please check dtc memory of instrument cluster mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00788 Possible Causes:
00788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00788 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
