Diameter in engine bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
00788 Possible Causes:
00788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00788 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
