The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system shift up/down wire, short to b+ or clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached is the final reason of the code. |

00787 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00787 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from acceleration request
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
