The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small or turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00779 Possible Causes:
00779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00779 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
