This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit also turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00777 Possible Causes:
00777 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00777 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
