Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground or crash shut-down activated will delay your vw fault. |
00776 Possible Causes:
00776 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00776 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
