This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger control module 1, missing message also oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00771 Possible Causes:
00771 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00771 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
