The problem is about turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature or change bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
00768 Possible Causes:
00768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00768 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
