Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal and wait then transmission control unit (j217), programming error will delay your vw fault. |
00767 Possible Causes:
00767 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00767 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
