This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high also ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00765 Possible Causes:
00765 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00765 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
