The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |

00763 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00763 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
