The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ or butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |

00758 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00758 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
