00754 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown is the final reason of the code. |
00754 Possible Causes:
00754 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00754 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
