The problem is about intake manifold runner control, default not reached run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction you can see the ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00749 Possible Causes:
00749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 00749 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
