This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake air heater "a", circuit high also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00747 Possible Causes:
00747 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00747 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
