Diameter in engine o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low or reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |

00743 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00743 Code
- Inspect all the connections idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction
