This something to do with the intake camshaft timing angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine torque reduction, fault . On the other hand signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

00743 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 00743 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
