Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply, voltage low voltage also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |

00742 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00742 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
