Diagnosing engine bar with valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine temperature too low . So for next intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00740 Possible Causes:
00740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00740 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
