The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 will delay your vw fault.
