The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |

00738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00738 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
