00736 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake air heater "a", circuit low or change low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit is the final reason of the code. |

00736 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00736 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
