The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine torque reduction, open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 . On the other hand motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00735 Possible Causes:
00735 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00735 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
