The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction or transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times is the final reason of the code. |
00733 Possible Causes:
00733 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00733 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
