Staring in engine charging system, voltage low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground also a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00731 Possible Causes:
00731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00731 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
