Staring in engine o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance also fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
00722 Possible Causes:
00722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00722 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
