Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high . On the other hand please check dtc memory of engine ecu is the final reason of the code. |
00717 Possible Causes:
00717 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00717 Code
- Inspect all the connections databus engine-engine, implausible message
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
