This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00716 Possible Causes:
00716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00716 Code
- Inspect all the connections control unit programming, programming not finished
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
