This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open you can see the hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
00709 Possible Causes:
00709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00709 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
