The problem is about exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control motor, control circuit or change relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00708 Possible Causes:
00708 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00708 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
