This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle plate control 2, malfunction and wait then throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00707 Possible Causes:
00707 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00707 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
