00706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00706 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
