00703 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 or turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault.

00703 Possible Causes:

00703 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 00703 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
