When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of transmission ecu or rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
00694 Possible Causes:
00694 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00694 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
