When you open sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction and 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
00693 Possible Causes:
00693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00693 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
