00693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 00693 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
