Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00685 Possible Causes:
00685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00685 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
