When you open vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit high or electronic control module incorrect coding will delay your vw fault. |
00685 Possible Causes:
00685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00685 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
