The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00681 Possible Causes:
00681 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00681 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
