This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 2, circuit high . So for next diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00681 Possible Causes:
00681 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00681 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
