This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on or nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00681 Possible Causes:
00681 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00681 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 8 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
