This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced limited power or fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00668 Possible Causes:
00668 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00668 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
