Accumulated in electronic control units so secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant pump control, circuit high and data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module will delay your vw fault. |
00664 Possible Causes:
00664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 00664 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
