Accumulated in electronic control units so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00664 Possible Causes:
00664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00664 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
