00661 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal, error message from ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ and a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00661 Possible Causes:
00661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00661 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
