Diameter in engine exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 2, system too rich off idle or change direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

00648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00648 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
