This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction you can see the charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
00647 Possible Causes:
00647 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00647 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
