Diameter in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent . So for next system too lean at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |

00644 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00644 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
