Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00641 Possible Causes:
00641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00641 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
