This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible also relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00640 Possible Causes:
00640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00640 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
