The problem is about o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of adr control module also hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low is the final reason of the code. |
00638 Possible Causes:
00638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00638 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
