Staring in engine fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction or throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
00638 Possible Causes:
00638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00638 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
