00637 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch accessory position, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open . On the other hand system too lean at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
00637 Possible Causes:
00637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00637 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger control module, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
