This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit and wait then starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00636 Possible Causes:
00636 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00636 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
