00636 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00636 Possible Causes:
00636 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00636 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
