Diagnosing engine bar with data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open . So for next tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

00633 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00633 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
